OK... I cave

Well it's February and I don't have too much to add. I'm gettin' ready for spring. Havin' thoughts of spring cleaning and maintenance, painting in particular. It seems every project I have on my list starts with another project, usually one I don't want to tackle myself. Namely, refinishing the hardwood floors or finding the source of the wind tunnel in the laundry room. Painting is one thing, but this DIY construction/demolition/reconstruction is a little more than I want to tackle. The kitchen went pretty well last year, but it was more make-up than surgery.

On another note, I've decided to remove some vids after receiving some anonymous comments in my email. I guess this Phelps thing has everyone thinking "burn those vicious pot heads in hell". Anyway... The vids have been out there long enuf for my friends to see, and "DATS IT!" BTW, how did they get my email? Its supposed to be private?! And the return email was garbage!?

And another thing... How can you prosecute someone with a photo as the only evidence. I understand goin' after the guy who tried to sell the bong on eBay (for $100,000?). Just ask Tommy Chong... dat's illegal.

So itz 2009.

Yeah right! I already scrapped a cheque with the wrong date. Haven't bin here fo a couple o weeks due to other prioritiez. My internet and cable contracts both expired at the same time, leading to unending and frustrating phone negotiations with both companies, leaving me in a quandry. They say they value my business but no matter what I want to cancel or downgrade, it's gonna cost me more to to what I've bin doin' for the past 2 years. I HAD to upgrade my net account (more gigs), no other choice, and I couldn't get the 10 or so channels I wanted on cable without spending more money (I don't need or want 200 channels...), so I decided to use my extra net gigs to download free movies, or as I like to call them, "The Happy Monk Movie Channel". Only the best, most inane or most entertaining movies in one place with no commercials. My own video store...FREE, sort of. Augghhh!

I've got a lot of things on my todo list for '09, but unfortunately they're all gonna cost instead of make money. I have to find an avenue to create income to hold on to The Monkery. Baggin' groceries comes to mind. My "freezyurassphobia", (the fear of going outside in the winter), is limiting my thought process.

See'in as "Sunday, Bloody Mary Sunday" got proRogued yesterdy, I've decreed today " Molson Monday"! I have also found out that Molson and HeShe, (from da sunny side of Beacon Mount, in the shadows of da Monkery), create an enigma... I cannot type what I'm seein' in my head. It is also not a good "Idea" to bak up when you don't know where you are. More about HeShe later...

I remember... da HAbs everbody trowin der rubbers. I trew ma shoes. Dad said "DON'T DO DAT!"I walked from da car, not far, maybe 100 yards in my sox. Apparently, some people could afford to trow der shuz, but not me. I lerned from dis 'sperience. DAT GUY who tru his shu obiously didn't get the same advice.

... tis monday... da wedda maka has decided to turn my bak yad into a lake, again. as long as da wedda stays outside and doesn't pour inta my basement, I gotta hope the power stays on or da sump pump won be a pumpin' wats s'pose ta be a'pumpin. Just sittin', sippin' my "Monday Mary", hopin Hydro don't blow my pooter. Zut alors! My Mary's comin'on empty. No problem...got more...I be back...

Not too much else to comment on t'day. Parliament is on a "holiday", our new "Opposition Leader"(self-employed) chooses not to comment. Montreal still reacts to the first "storm"  like it never snows here. Oh yeah! New England got what we were supposed to get(tee-hee).
